Man United lose third-straight match of the season


– Manchester United lost their third consecutive match as they were humbled 3-1 by Watford at Vicarage Road – Capoue, Zuniga and Denney got the goals for the Hornets in the keenly contested game – Teenage sensation Marcus Rashford got the only goal for the Red Devils but was not enough for a draw – Odion Ighalo missed a glorious opportunity for Watford as he failed to score into an empty net from 18 yards Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United lost their third game in a row as they fell 1-3 to Watford at Vicarage Road. Etienne Capuoe rifled home from close range to put the Hornets a goal up after the ball was stolen from Anthony Martial from the left back position.  Capoue celebrates his fourth goal of the season against Man United Teenage sensation Marcus Rashford was at the right place at the right time following a neat one-two with Zlatan Ibrahimovic putting United back into the game in the 62nd minute. Odion Ighalo failed to score into an empty net from 18 yards earlier in the half after the Red Devils failed to clear their lines properly as the ball went agonizingly wide. Watford were not done yet as Roberto Pereyra found Colombian international Juan Zuniga in the box who beautifully curled in a shot with his right boot as United trailed by 2-1. Zuniga celebrates his goal against Man United after coming on as a supersub It was one Nigerian for another as Isaac Success came in for Ighalo who had quite a decent match as Watford were run away winners of the encounter. Success brilliant pacy run from the left caused all sort of problems for United’s defence as the youngster had a one-two with Zuniga and was given a penalty in injury time. Troy Denney sealed the deal with a penalty and gave Watford their first victory over the Red Devils in thirty years making it the Premier League story of the weekend.  Deeney seals victory for Watford from a penalty against Man United Mourinho’s men slipped further down to sixth position as Watford climbed to eight on the table after a slow start of their campaign this season. With this result, it is the first time since 2002 since Mourinho lost three matches in a row and United will square up against Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, September 27.
